Fact-check your history script

Send us a script, or a video you have already published. We check every factual claim against a source and tell you which lines to fix, with a suggested rewording for each.

What you get

• The checkable claims in the script: dates, numbers, names, places, attributions, "first" and "only" statements, and popular stories told as fact. A 15 to 25 minute video usually has 50 to 80.
• The lines to fix first, sorted by how much they would mislead a viewer, each with what the sources say, the source itself, and a suggested rewording.
• The claims we confirmed, so you know what already stands up.
• A short list of claims we could not find a source for. That means we did not find one, not that the claim is false.

How we check

1. A first pass checks every claim against a source.
2. A stricter second pass re-checks everything flagged, reads the lines around it so a hedged "according to legend" is not called an error, and drops nitpicks such as rounding or numbers inside the range scholars give.
3. We read the report before it goes out.

The checking is done with AI research tools that read the sources directly; the sources are cited so you can verify every correction yourself.

3. The report arrives by email as a document you can keep. Our target is 48 hours; targets, not guarantees.

What it is not

A fact-check is research, not a guarantee. Sources can disagree and can be wrong, and some questions are genuinely open; where scholars disagree, the report says so instead of picking a side. You decide what to change in your video. If the report misses the mark, tell us within 14 days of delivery and we will redo it or refund it (see the refund policy).
