QuietReel is operated by 9536-1176 Quebec Inc., a corporation registered in Quebec, Canada, which provides the service. Purchases are sold through Link, a Stripe service that is the merchant of record for the payment: your receipt comes from Link and your card statement shows LINK.COM* QUIETREEL. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.
QuietReel is a software platform that produces finished long-form videos. You submit a topic or script in the QuietReel workspace. Software runs the production: research, script, fact-check, synthetic narration, visuals, assembly and quality checks. Visuals come in two styles: a documentary style built from licensed, filmed footage and museum and archive images that are public domain or openly licensed, and a generated-visual style where every visual is generated for your video. A person reviews every scene plan, the footage picks in the documentary style, and every finished cut before it reaches you. Plans are flat monthly subscriptions with a set number of videos per month.
Every video goes through scene-plan approval. The platform drafts the full plan (narration lines, visuals, sources) in your workspace, and production starts only after you approve it. Delivery is matched to the plan you approved. Our target is a scene plan within 48 hours of your order and delivery within 48 hours of your approval; these are targets, not guarantees, and we tell you in the workspace when a job is running late.
Your first purchase shows a private workspace link after checkout. Videos created through it use what you paid for, so anyone holding it can use your videos: treat it like a password. A video submitted without it uses nothing until it is paid for from its own page or started from your workspace. Each order also opens with its own private link containing a token; anyone holding that link can view and act on that order. If you lose a link, email us from the address you paid with and we can resend it, or replace your workspace link so the old one stops working. We may add password or email sign-in at any time.
You own the delivered videos and may publish and monetize them anywhere. Scripts and topics you submit remain yours, and you confirm you have the right to use anything you submit. We may ask permission to feature a delivered video as a sample and will not do so without it. In the documentary style, the footage and images inside a video remain under their own licences (the Pexels licence, public domain or open licences), which permit their use in the delivered video; the credits file we deliver lists each one, with any credit line its licence asks you to keep when you publish. Narration is a disclosed synthetic voice in both styles. You are responsible for any disclosure the publishing platform requires (YouTube currently requires disclosure for realistic altered or synthetic content); the compliance pack we deliver documents what was generated, what was filmed and where each visual came from, so you can make that disclosure accurately.
Each video includes two re-render rounds: automated re-runs of the pipeline with your scene-level changes applied. A round may touch several scenes. Further rounds are available for a flat fee we quote before any work starts.
We decline topics designed to mislead: health or financial misinformation, fabricated events presented as real, impersonation of real people, hate, harassment, sexual content, or anything that violates the policies of the platform you publish on or applicable law. Declined topics do not consume your monthly allowance: a declined plan video goes back into your allowance, and for a declined single or first video you can use the credit for a different topic or ask for a full refund of what you paid for it. We may suspend an account used to attempt any of the above, and we may refuse or cancel an order at our discretion with a refund of anything paid for it.
Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Cancel any time in the billing portal linked from your workspace, at link.com, or by email; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and you keep what was delivered. Unused plan videos roll forward one month, to a maximum bank of two months' allowance, and stay usable for one month after a plan ends. Videos bought one at a time are kept separately from the plan allowance and remain usable after a plan ends. Founding prices are locked for 12 months from the first payment; after that the plan renews at the standard price shown on the pricing page at that time, and we email you before the change. Prices exclude any tax that applies where you are; tax is calculated at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe and sold through Link; the charge appears on your statement as LINK.COM* QUIETREEL.
You can buy one video without a plan. Your first video costs $49 and is limited to one per customer (per person, email or channel); further single videos cost $99 each. If the same customer buys the $49 first video again, we refund it or ask for the difference to the $99 price before that video starts. A single video is one finished 7 to 12 minute video, with the same scene-plan approval, two re-render rounds and bundle as the plans. Pay with the email you will use in your workspace so the video is matched to your payment. If you start a monthly plan before your first video is delivered or within 14 days after, we refund the $49 from your first month's payment. Single videos are one-time purchases and do not renew. Prices exclude any tax that applies where you are; tax is calculated at checkout. There is no free sample.
A fact-check report is a written research report on one script or published video of up to 30 minutes of narration: the checkable factual claims in it, the ones we found contradicted, misleading or disputed with a source for each, and the ones we confirmed. It costs $25 per video. If you order your first QuietReel video within 30 days of buying a report, we take the $25 off it, as a partial refund of the $49 first-video payment. The report is research, not a guarantee: sources can disagree or be wrong, "no source found" means we did not find one, not that a claim is false, and you decide what to change in your content. You keep the report and may use it as you like. Prices exclude any tax that applies where you are; tax is calculated at checkout.
If you are a consumer in the EU, the UK or another place with a statutory cooling-off period, you may withdraw within 14 days of purchase. Because production begins when you approve a scene plan, you agree that by approving a plan you request performance to begin and acknowledge that the withdrawal right ends for videos already produced. For a fact-check report, sending us the script or video link is your request for the check to begin, and the withdrawal right ends once the report is delivered. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have by law that cannot be waived.
The first-video re-render and every other refund rule are in the refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
We do not promise platform outcomes: views, monetization, reach, or immunity from any platform's decisions. Visuals, on-screen labels and synthetic narration may contain errors; the scene-plan approval step and the compliance pack exist so you can check before publishing. Fact-check reports may contain errors too, which is why every correction cites its source. The service is provided as is, and to the extent the law allows we disclaim implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost revenue or lost audience. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from content you submit or from your publication of delivered videos in breach of these terms or of a platform's rules.
We may change, pause or discontinue features, models, voices or the service itself. If a change materially reduces what your plan includes, we notify subscribers by email and you may cancel before it takes effect. We may suspend the service for maintenance or for security reasons.
You may close your account at any time by email. We may terminate an account that breaches these terms; delivered videos remain yours.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and disputes are heard in the courts of Quebec, without removing any protection you have as a consumer under the law of the place you live.
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do; material changes are emailed to subscribers before they take effect, and continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms. Questions: [email protected].
